My research aims to study social inequality at regional levels and help develop sociological perspectives on the relations between political contestations, social and cultural narratives and mobility of certain classes. In my Ph.D., I focused on the elite section of society. The major research objective during Ph.D. (2018) was to understand and explain the mechanisms of production and reproduction of the social inequalities in contemporary Indian society.
